Hume City Council: How your rates are calculated

July 31, 2014
Hume City Council collects rates to provide a wide range of services and important building projects our growing community needs now and for the future. Rates are a financial contribution all property owners make towards the cost of running Hume City. To calculate the amount each ratepayer is required to pay for their annual rates Council first determines how much rate income is required to run the City. This video explains how your rates are calculated. For more information go to www.hume.vic.gov.au/myrates
